After the three-part Disney+ documentary “Get Back” received five Emmy nominations – including Best Documentary and Best Director – director Peter Jackson is planning a new film project regarding the Beatles. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will be involved. As Jackson told the industry publication Deadline, the project will not be further documented. For Get Back, Jackson spent four years viewing 187 hours of audio and video footage produced for Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s breakup documentary Let It Be.
