For anyone hoping to experience The Elder Scrolls 6 in the foreseeable future, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has some sobering news. The eagerly awaited title should appear in five years at the earliest.

Spencer also sees this problem: “It’s so far in the future that it’s difficult to understand which platforms will even exist,” he said in the course of the court proceedings between the US antitrust authority Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Microsoft.
