Philadelphia 76ers STAR Joel Embiid returned to his best performance after suffering a long injury by scoring 50 points and leading his team to win over the New York Knicks 125-114 in Game 3 of the NBA playoffs at the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Friday (26/4) WIB .

Embiid scored five 3-pointers with an accuracy of 71.4%, made 19 free throws from 21 opportunities, had eight rebounds and four assists.

The number of free throws given to Embiid was even more than all the free throws the New York Knikcs had, which was only 19 times.

“They played a physically demanding game. We can do that too,” Embiid said as quoted on the NBA’s official website.

Embiid mentioned that he was constantly pressured by the opponent and had a tough match which caused him to get a lot of free throws.

After a tough first half where neither team could outscore the opponent by more than five points, Embiid exploded in the third quarter, hitting four of his four 3-pointers plus one more in the fourth.

Meanwhile, Knicks star Jalen Brunson also recorded 39 points and 13 assists for his team. Josh Hart added 20 points, OG Anunoby 17 points, and Isaiah Hartenstein 14 points.
