A 15th place in the European Cup in Poland shows good development.
Triathlete Philip Pertl has successfully completed the Sprint European Cup in Olsztyn, Poland. The Gasteiner finished 15th on Saturday. “A great start to the European season. After the previous races, which didn’t go optimally, I was a little unsure. But today it worked very well and I showed that I can do it and that training with my new coach is going great.” , says Pertl, who has been looked after by Lukas Hollaus since the winter.
Pertl is particularly strong on the bike again
After a challenging swim, the man from Pongau fought his way back into the top group in his favorite discipline, cycling. After a good change he was on course for the top ten. Although Pertl still had to pass a few opponents on the running course, he still secured 15th place in the finish sprint. “I started running well and I’m happy.”
