Kaohsiung Airport stated that 4 flights are currently affected, including 1 flight from Evergreen to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, 2 flights from China Airlines to Penang, Malaysia, and 1 flight from China Airlines to Jakarta, Indonesia. A total of 4 flights are diverted to Kaohsiung.
Kaohsiung Airport emphasized that except for one China Airlines flight to Penang, which was a cargo plane that did not carry passengers, the other three were passenger planes, affecting 760 passengers; four flights landed between 11:22 and 12:00 and stopped at the airport.
