Philips Hue updates to hold the candle better during Valentine’s Day

2024-02-14 15:08:00

If you are a user of Philips Hue devices, such as one of the LED strips, you are probably familiar with the accompanying smartphone application allowing you to configure and control them. It’s full of options and features, including scenes. These allow you to configure your lighting according to a variety of moods, most corresponding to particular themes such as a season, a type of event or a time of day.

It is with this functionality that the application celebrates Valentine’s Day. Its last update (5.10.0) includes a new romance-themed category. With a simple click, you can change the lighting ambiance of your rooms to adopt more pink, red and golden tones. At least that’s what’s hidden behind the names of the proposed scenes: ruby romance, city of love, sunset allure, lovebirds, smitten, glitz and glam, promise. Something to warm up.
