Philosophy of Daily Life: Exploring Everyday Situations from a Philosophical Perspective

2024-01-11 15:45:31

Everyday life is surrounded by philosophical notions without us realizing it: anxieties, fears, doubts, philosophy can help address various everyday situations, including why many people like to make a list of resolutions when the year begins. The book Philosophy of Daily Life by Tania Sanchez seeks to approach this discipline from a lighter and more accessible angle.

Why do we celebrate the arrival of the new year? Are we condemned to feel nostalgic for our childhood? Why are we attached to a physical workplace? Should we stop taking pictures?

All these questions are part of a selection of issues related to our daily lives and that can actually be addressed from Philosophy.
