Rio Negro photographer Mario Villasuso captured an impressive image in the middle of the 23rd edition of the traditional Allen Vuela air show. In it you can see three aircraft performing acrobatics in the sky, but in the midst of an unparalleled astronomical event: the first eclipse partial of sol of the year.
The photograph was published by the portal Allen’s Diarywhere neighbors from all over the Alto Valle showed their admiration and congratulated the graphic report for the incredible shot.

The image was captured this Saturday during one of the aerial presentations and quickly went viral through social networks. The event was organized by the local Aeroclub and will continue this Sunday with a colorful and impressive agenda of proposals for the whole family.

The southeast of the Argentine Patagonian region was one of the best places in the country to observe the partial solar eclipse that occurred this Saturday afternoon. The partial solar eclipse that occurred this Saturday was the first of four astronomical events that will occur this year and could be seen in different proportions in the southern cone, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and in the Pacific with a sun “in the west”, that is to say, that it happened between 5:36 p.m. and 6:38 p.m., Argentine time, detailed the astronomer.
“When the Moon stands between the Sun and the Earth, an eclipse of the Sun occurs, but for it to be total, the Moon’s shadow cone has to touch the Earth and this is not the case since it is the cone of the one that touches it, then the disk of the Sun is not completely hidden, ”explained the specialist.
The astronomer specified that the Moon touched the edge of the Sun around 5:36 p.m. and passed in front of it, partially covering it. “The surface of the Sun could be described as a little eaten, since the Moon is going to cover 39% of the solar disk,” García had advanced.
