The photo editor Photomator for macOS is coming to its version today 3.3. With the update, the application gained a new feature that promises to make its use more agile and effective: a file browser. The company assured that the feature offers a fast and stable editing experience, having already been extensively tested and optimized.

Built with native macOS technologies, the browser allows you to import thousands of photos in seconds just by dragging them. When editing them, the changes are synchronized with the originals, without duplications. Users of Macs with Apple Silicon will have an especially speedy experience, with importing and machine learning tasks completing in just a few moments.

The browser has all the features of Photomator, such as color adjustments, artificial intelligence tools, high dynamic range (HDR) and batch editing, speeding up the editing process directly from the file browser.

You can also edit images stored in cloud services — such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive e OneDrive — and on solid-state drives (SSDs), NAS devices, and SD cards, as well as on the Mac itself. Edits are always non-destructive and can be rolled back to the original version.

Other new features include a new way to save edits in the browser, allowing you to store changes next to the original file (without modifying it) and file size optimizations sidecar, in which the changes are saved, preserving the original photo. As a result, edits made to both files and the photo browser now require less storage space, something particularly beneficial for those who edit photos in RAW format.

Photomator 3.3 is available on the Mac App Store for free, allowing you to save a limited number of edited photos. Unlimited access to functions costs R$28 a month, R$150 per year or R$500 for a lifetime license.
