On February 10, a number of social networking sites posted information about a 5th grade student being bullied by a teacher in Phu Thanh ward (Tuy Hoa city, province). Phu Yen) hit because he couldn’t do the lesson.

Specifically, the Tuy Hoa Young TV Facebook page posted information about a 5th grade student being beaten by a teacher in Phu Thanh ward because he couldn’t do the homework with pictures. This information then attracted thousands of comments and many shares.
Regarding this incident, Report No. 57/BC-UBND dated February 10, 2023 of the City People’s Committee said that the case of the student being beaten was TTA, a student of class 5A4, Le Hong Phong Primary School, Tuy Hoa city (currently residing in Quarter 5, Phu Thanh Ward, Tuy Hoa city).
Ms. Huynh Thi Bich Lam (the mother of TTA) is the one who posted the information on Tuy Hoa Young TV page.

Through information verification, the person who beat TTA’s brother is Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Van (born in 1987, working as a housewife) is not teacher of the city’s education sector and is temporarily staying at his parents’ house at 3/2 Street, Quarter 3, Phu Thanh Ward.

Regarding the above case, Mr. Cao Dinh Huy, Chairman of Tuy Hoa City People’s Committee assigned leaders of Education and Training Department, Division of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, People’s Committee of Phu Ward Thanh and Le Hong Phong Primary School organized a visit and timely support for TTA’s child
The leader of Tuy Hoa city also requested the People’s Committee of Phu Thanh ward to urgently handle according to regulations, Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Van’s organization of home schooling and the act of beating TTA’s children, reporting to the People’s Committee of the city. no later than February 13, 2023.
Tuy Hoa City Police shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant units in, urgently checking and handling according to regulations for cases of posting and sharing unverified and inaccurate information related to the above case.
