The 44-year-old from the Urfahr area was on the B127 towards Linz at around 6:25 p.m. with her ten-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son. In the municipality of Kleinzell im Mühlkreis (Rohrbach district), the car skidded, collided with the guardrail on the left and was thrown back onto the roadway. The car stopped there in the opposite direction of travel.
Initial investigations revealed that the woman was looking for something in her handbag. Mother and children were injured to an undetermined degree and, after first aid, were taken to the Rohrbach Clinic by ambulance. The B127 was closed in both directions until 7:30 p.m.
