Kyriakos Pierrakakis, speaking about the controversial bill of the Ministry of Education that is voted by the plenary session today, responded both to the intervention of the former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, and to what was mentioned by the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis.

Initially commenting on the statement of the former prime minister, that the law on non-state universities will not succeed, the Minister of Education commented and replied that “to share my relief. If it has the same fate as its public placement before your conference, fair wind in our sails.”
However, Mr. Pierrakakis responded mockingly to the president of PASOK who earlier spoke of government ministers “who are fighting over who is the most genuine representative of the New Democracy’s janissary order”.
“The constant practice of the sultans is discipline. And the exercise of party discipline by a certain party in this particular initiative in order to be able to contain its internal disagreement and the disagreement at the level of its executives is the most characteristic of all”, the minister pointedly pointed out.
