Pierre Durand, in memory of his dear Jappeloup

He remembers that as a child he often stayed in Switzerland. The family left the Gironde, crossed France and visited Geneva, Montreux, Fribourg. But if he carries this country particularly in his heart, it is for something else: he lived his best competition there. In 1987, the European Show Jumping Championships in St. Gallen. Pierre Durand and the legendary Jappeloup win gold. They mostly beat John Whitaker and his mount, the no less legendary Milton.
