Pierre Gasly “The relationship with Yuki Tsunoda is not seen in other F1 teams”[F1-Gate.com]

Pierre Guthrie will transfer to the Alpine F1 team in 2023 and welcome Esteban Ocon as a new teammate to Alpine. While he’s looking forward to the season ahead with his new car, Gasly admits he will miss AlphaTauri team-mate Yuki Tsunoda.

Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda have developed a friendly relationship off-track during their two years together at the team, and the two are often featured in each other’s social media posts.

The two have also participated in various activities documented on Alpha Tauri videos, including several karaoke sessions that have proven popular with fans.

Pierre Gasly believes his relationship with Yuki Tsunoda was a very unique teammate.

“Of course I miss Yuki,” Gasly told media after the season-ending F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

“The relationship we have as teammates is something that I don’t think you see in a lot of teams, and it was invaluable.”

“But it’s also part of the sport and career moves forward. I will certainly miss him and wish him the best of luck.”

Pierre Gasly will not be able to work alongside Yuki Tsunoda at AlphaTauri, but is looking forward to the next chapter of his Alpine career with Esteban Ocon.

The two have had a tumultuous past, but both insist they have no problem working together.

Pierre Gasly is excited about what lies ahead after Alpine finished fourth in the 2022 Constructors’ Championship.

“I am very excited because the Alpine package looks very competitive,” said Gasly.

“At some tracks they were actually quite close. In Brazil[Fernando]Alonso was fighting for the top five in the last stint.

“They have shown very fast pace on some occasions. If they can take a step forward, it will be even better, so jump in the car and start working for next year and everything that will be done to next year’s car. I am very excited to hear about the development of
