Many Mendois and Lozériens adorned themselves in pink this Saturday, October 14, 2023, on the occasion of the Pink Challenge organized in Mende. Stands, workshops, hikes, running and cycling races, initiations, meals, music, color runs… The city was lively during this event dedicated to the fight once morest breast cancer. “It’s not just a day of music, it’s also a day to talk regarding screening!” proclaims Cathy Paulhac, vice-president of the Lozère committee of the League once morest Cancer, on the Place de la République. Before proudly announcing that Lozère had just exceeded the threshold of 50% of women who were screened.

During this Pink Challenge, Guillaume Caparos, who had written and composed music for Pink October in Lozère, sang twice, accompanied by around ten women who danced.
