The month of October, called Pink October, is being actively prepared. The Plein vent merchants’ association, which is currently preparing its fashion show on October 6, under the Paris hall, is ensuring, in partnership with the town hall, that this month is the one that everyone wishes for and awaits in the fight against breast cancer. As a reminder, one in eight women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime and one in thirty-two will die from it. The question of screening is therefore vital.
With the green spaces service carefully looked after by Pierrette Esquieu, the municipality will decorate – it has already started – all the roundabouts in the town of Moissac. As for the Plein vent merchants’ association, it hung pink umbrellas in the arteries of Moissac: avenue du Chasselas, rue de la République, Saint-Benoît roundabout, in front of the hospital.
The traders involved
In addition, traders will meet the public on Saturday October 14 and Sunday October 15, at the Place des Récollets market, where the Moissac country dance section will perform demonstrations that will please everyone.
