“Pinochet was more democratic than you!”: Óscar Andrade responds with everything to Claudio Narea’s tweets

Óscar Andrade put together a big one in his last appearance in Without filtersa program on Canal Vive, while responding to former Los Prisioneros guitarist Claudio Narea, who had criticized his political stance on Twitter.

It all started a couple of weeks ago, at the end of June, when the national artist, in the same program, stated that in the face of the exit Plebiscite he would vote for the “Rejection” option, even though he was remembered as one of the staunch opponents of the dictatorship. “I don’t know any artist, over 40 years old, who is not a leftist for convenience,” he defended himself on that occasion.

“I never saw him on any stage from ’83 onwards. He was not an artist committed to the fight against the dictatorship. Don’t sell him as a leftist because he wasn’t. Celebrate it as one of Rejection, just plain ”, he crossed it on June 24 via the social network of the little bird Claudio Narea.

And a few hours ago, Andrade responded. In his last appearance on the program, the artist first started strong: “They themselves recognize that they were my opening act,” he said, already quite angry.

And then, as a panelist on the show read responses criticizing the singer’s stance, she finally exploded:

“But if you are censored that way, the hypocritical majority, at least Pinochet had a public blacklist, he was much more honest.”

“And I’ll tell you something, Pinochet was much more democratic than you!” He added immediately, pointing to the militants of the political left.

By the way, the phrase sparked controversy among the program’s panelists, while Gonzalo Feito, host of the space, laughed. Later, one of those involved mentioned that Andrade had not censored, as he complained, but that, plain and simple, it had lost its validity.

Regarding Narea’s statements, Gonzalo Feito stated that the musician was invited to the program to talk but he refused to participate.
