The organizations that make up the Picket Unit This Wednesday, April 19, they held a protest against the Government that included a march from Pueyrredón Bridge to Plaza de Mayoand one all-night vigil in front of the Casa Rosada.
The “torch march” began minutes after 6:00 p.m. on the Pueyrredón Bridge, from where the protesters marched towards the Plaza de Mayo.
The long column moved through the Avenue July 9 and then turned onto Avenida de Mayo, until reaching the Government House around 10:00 p.m.
In Plaza de Mayo they will camp overnight and then on Thursday morning they will hold a protest called “empty pots” in front of the Ministry of Social Developmenton July 9 and Belgrano.
The protest was framed within the plan to fight “against adjustment and hunger” and aims to improve the situation of those who make up the popular economy.
