Vienna – In the first PISA study following the corona pandemic, the results have largely deteriorated compared to previous surveys across the OECD. In Austria the decline was consistently smaller or non-existent. In this country, performance in the area of mathematics fell significantly, the losses in reading were not statistically significant – the results in the area of natural sciences remained practically stable.
