Students from three leftist groups staged a camp battle at the faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Buenos Aires’ University (UBA). The authorities decided to suspend activities until further notice.

“Faced with the acts of physical violence that are taking place at this moment in the hall on the first floor, among the student groups: Nuevo Más, Partido Obrero and Partido de los Trabajadores Socialistas, the authorities of the Faculty make the decision to suspend activities at Puan headquarters until further notice”, expressed the UBA in a statement.
In this framework, they called an extraordinary session of the Board of Directors for next Monday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. “in order to define the application of the disciplinary framework of the UBA”.

For his part, a member of the Socialist Workers Party released a video through social networks that would be from the moment prior to the dispute. There, he denounces that members of the Nuevo Mas would have taken down posters and flags of their group. In them, they asked for the release of Jaru Alexander Rodríguez, one of those arrested for the attack on the office of Vice President Cristina Kirchner.
