The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) claims that relations with the elected president for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, are going well. The PKS leadership is also said to have maintained communication with the General Chair of the Gerindra Party.
“With Pak Prabowo as the elected president, PKS relations are good and have been good for a long time. PKS leaders are used to keeping in touch with each other,” said PKS DPR Fraction Chair Jazuli Juwaini in a written statement, Monday (29/4).
Jazuli also claims that PKS also communicates well with fellow political parties (parpol). Including in the legislative and executive spheres.
“Our communication with political parties for cooperation in both the executive and legislative branches is very good and running smoothly,” said Jazuli.
Meanwhile, PKS has not yet determined its stance regarding whether it will join the Prabowo-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government coalition. This attitude awaits a decision from the PKS elite.
“Decisions regarding coalition or opposition in PKS are not personal tastes but are deliberative decisions of the Shura Council and the Central Level Leadership Council (DPTP), and are dynamic in nature according to the degree of benefit and interests of the people,” explained Jazuli. (Z-8)
