Play by Ronald Acuña shines against Miami

One of the best actions for this weekend is that of the native of La Sabana, Ronald Acuña, who stopped the pass of a Miami runner who was looking to pack on second.

The play came this Saturday when the Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins 5-2.

Acuña’s agility and throwing was so fast that the Marlins received the first out in the bottom of the eighth inning.

According to official MLB data, the Venezuelan’s pitch was 99.1 MPH.

Moments before, the Venezuelan Jesús Aguilar hit his 14th home run of the 2022 Major League season. The Creole opened the scoring for the Marlins.

The Creole’s action occurred in the fourth inning of the game, where he also drove his teammate Miguel Rojas and made it 3-2.

The ball expelled by the Creole came out at a speed of 106 mph and 403 feet away and already has 107 homers for life.
