Playing Debate is an educational tool to interest young people in science by questioning the uses and impacts of science, and particularly digital science, in society and daily life. After a thematic series on artificial intelligence, the Tree of Knowledge association, with the support of Inria, is offering a new opus on digital technology in sport.
With Jouer à Débattre (JAD), the Tree of Knowledge provides educational and cultural professionals free of charge with educational materials, to interest young people (from 13 years old) in science in a different way and introduce them to civic debate , thanks to a fun and transdisciplinary approach. Via a role play which leads them to embody positions and make decisions, young people can take on complex questions, in nuance, on concrete objects, and thus reflect on the benefits and risks linked to scientific innovation and technological.
Since 2018, the Tree of Knowledge has collaborated with Inria to produce resources on digital sciences, including a thematic series on the uses of artificial intelligence in different fields (transport, health, security), and today , a new medium for debate on digital technology in sport.
