As soon as the Playstation 5 is finally available everywhere, the next good deal is finally on the horizon for scalpers. All joking aside: In the fourth year following the release of Sony’s game console, a Pro version is on the horizon for fall 2024. Unlike the slim version, which tends to be limited to cosmetic details, there should be a significant graphics upgrade for the Playstation 5 Pro. In certain scenarios, the hardware should, to put it bluntly, be up to three times “faster” than current models, and the ray tracing performance should even be four times as high.
