It’s official, on June 23, Sony will launch its new Playstation Plus! Owners of PS4 and PS5 consoles will therefore be able to enjoy a list of games rich in a lot of hits. The catalog in question is partially revealed. It includes PS4 and PS5 titles, but also PS3 productions and “classic” software. Both on the third-party publisher side and on the “first party” side. So here are the details.

Catalog of classics

PlayStation Plus Premium/ subscribers will have access to a selection of classics. Some of them will offer optimized refresh rates and resolution compared to their original version.
In select games on the original PlayStation and PSP, subscribers will experience a new user interface with menus to save the game at any time, and even rewind the game to try again.
Additionally, players who already own certain digital versions of PlayStation and PSP generation games will not need to make a separate purchase or sign in to PlayStation Plus to play those games on PS4 or PS5. When these games release on PS4 and PS5, players will be able to head over to the PlayStation Store and download a version for their console at no additional cost if they already own the digital version. Some of the games will also be individually available for purchase.
Additionally, some remastered classics from previous console generations will be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium plan. Check out a sample of the games that will be available below.

Time-limited trial versions of games

Time-limited trial versions of games will allow you to test certain games before purchasing them. Once you download the trial version of a full game, you can play it during two hours for most games. Time is only counted while you’re in the game. It’s the perfect way to try games before you buy them. If you purchase the game, Trophies earned and game data from the trial period will be transferred. Here are some of the titles for which a time-limited trial version will be offered.

PlayStation Plus Essential
A monthly update will occur on the first Tuesday of each month for the PlayStation Plus Essential plan (and the two higher plans). New PS4 and PS5 games will be added to the service, as is currently the case with PlayStation Plus.
PlayStation Plus Extra et Premium
PlayStation Plus Extra et Premium
An additional monthly update with new games will take place mid-month for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium plans. The number of games added each month may vary.
Other games are expected to complete this list, with Sony having previously announced more than 700 titles.
