Kozhikode | The SYS Secretariat has termed the statement made by the General Secretary of the Muslim League, PMA Salam, on the killing of Sunni activists in Kallamkuzhi as cruel. The meeting asked the leadership to clarify whether the league agrees with this.
Salam said the Muslim League had publicly supported the accused and intervened politically and legally for them. Is the Muslim League the party that protects murderers in this way? This approach of public support for the killers is highly reprehensible as it shatters the social fabric of Kerala. The secretariat said that the League’s approach of not expelling the accused from the party would remain a stain on the violent political history of Kerala.
