Unlike the event contested the day before at the trot, none of the most popular competitors might stand out since all the horses making up the right combination were offered at more than 10/1.

The favorite of the event, monastery (No. 10), might not come to light. As Equidia’s images show below, his stall opened with a time delay. He thus lost all chance from the first meters, which explains Stéphane Pasquier. The misfortune of some can make the happiness of others but equity has, it seems, not been in order.
