PNB officer died in a traffic accident in Ciudad Bolívar

The wounded citizen was transferred to the emergency room of the Ruiz y Páez University Hospital.

An officer of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) died in a traffic accident in the early hours of this Sunday, October 16, in the municipality of Angostura del Orinoco.

The official was identified as José Daniel Díaz, who was traveling on a black Bera Socialista motorcycle.

The traffic accident was recorded on España Avenue, adjacent to the intersection with El Corozo Street, in the Cathedral parish, in Ciudad Bolívar.

Presumably, the citizen would have lost control of the motorcycle, in which he was traveling in the company of another subject, also identified as a police officer.

The uniformed officer presented multiple polytraumatisms throughout the body and cranioencephalic, in addition to an open fracture in the left leg.

Injured

Díaz was traveling accompanied by Eleazar José Rodríguez, 24 years old; who was injured.

Rodríguez was transferred in a PNB patrol to the emergency room of the Ruiz y Páez University Hospital.

Unofficially, it was learned that both Díaz and Rodríguez were stationed as police officers in Caracas.
