PNB shot a Unes student

The PNB officer was arrested.

A 21-year-old student at the Experimental Security University (Unes) was shot three times by an officer of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), attached to the Agua Vive headquarters in Lara state.

The victim was identified as Simón Teodoro Alvarado Vásquez, who was admitted to the Doctor Antonio María Pineda Central Hospital in Barquisimeto, due to the seriousness of his injuries.

The incident occurred at the PNB station, located in the Centro sector, in front of Plaza Bolívar de Cabudare. The reasons that led DJ Acosta Soto (19) to shoot Alvarado are unknown.

The PNB officer was arrested. During the procedure, they seized a Beretta pistol-type firearm, model PX4, belonging to the Venezuelan State, which was used by Acosta to shoot his victim.
