POCO C51 launched as a new entry-level cell phone with Android Go and MediaTek chip

As expected since the beginning of the week, Xiaomi made the POCO C51 official in India this Friday (7). The new cell phone fits into the entry-level category and highlights the presence of Android Go Edition and a MediaTek platform.

The smartphone also provides a single configuration of consumer memories. You can check out his highlights below.

The C51 has a smooth plastic back, with a bump for the cameras and the flash that leaves the lens in a pill-shaped block. Here, there is an 8 MP primary sensor and a secondary VGA blur sensor. Still on the lid, more centralized, the biometric reader appears. At the front, there is a drop-shaped notch, where the 5 MP front camera is located.

This POCO comes equipped with a 6.52-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The mobile platform present here is the Helio G36, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The device still has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and compatible with 10W charging, through the adapter that comes in the box. To complete, there is Android 13 Go Edition – an optimized version for more basic devices – as an operating system.

The POCO C51 can be found in black and blue. It will go on sale in India from April 12th, at a suggested price of INR 8,499 (~R$ 525). There is still no forecast information for arrival in other markets, such as Brazil.
