The fact that Greece is not in a major event is not a surprise. Football wise we are way behind, there is no plan for anything and the only thing that matters is who will manage EPO and which big team will serve.
But when all the National Team has to do is beat Kazakhstan and Georgia, then yes, it’s a failure, because they were perfectly capable of doing it.
There is no need for exaggeration, nor to make it a national narrative. We are talking about football, not geopolitical analysis.
We wouldn’t score goals even in 100 years in the game against Georgia, since there is no quality, creativity and imagination. In penalty kicks, the worst team’s chances increase. There they wanted to lead the National Team and they succeeded.
