Tamil actor Ponnambalam said that the family member tried to endanger him by mixing poison. The actor has alleged that he tried to harm her by giving her slow poison in food and other things. Ponnambalam recently underwent a kidney transplant. In an interview to a Tamil media, the actor said that people thought he had kidney failure due to alcoholism and the real reason was poisoning.
He was admitted to the hospital recently due to kidney failure. Ponnambalam came back to life when his relative and director Jagannathan donated his kidney. The actor’s kidney transplant was done on February 10 at a private hospital in Chennai.
“Many people thought that his kidney failure was due to drinking. But it was not. My father had four wives. The son of the third wife was with me as a manager. One day he mixed some poison in the beer. At first I did not know that he was behind it. Later he mixed the same slow poison in the rasa. It affected my health. .
I didn’t know any of this. And you know when you ask the people who have worked with you. All this was done out of jealousy towards me,” Ponnambalam said.
