Only a few more weeks to wait before discovering the 9th generation of Pokémon, which will arrive on Nintendo Switch through Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple. We’ve already seen many videos presenting the mechanics, but Game Freak still has some on hand!
Pokemon Scarlet & Purple will be released on November 18, exclusively on Nintendo Switch, of course. As expected, we will therefore leave the Galar region for that of Paldea, inspired by Spainand therefore endowed with a much more Mediterranean atmosphere.
New region, new pokemon, new mechanics, multiplayer… the 9th generation is coming!
This time, players will face a real open world, which it will be possible to travel alone or with others up to 4. We will embody a student of the academy, and we will have the choice between three paths, which, rest assured, can all be traveled. Exploration, quest for badges, hunt for the “secret spice”, all excuses will be good to travel the world in search of all pokemons. These last two will also act as mount, since we can travel the land on their backs, glide or sail. An interesting mechanic, but players are wondering about this use of legendaries.
For this generation, the Dynamax mechanic will give way to Teracristallizationwhich will allow pokemon to have a gemstone appearance, but also to see their skills boosted and even to use another type. There will obviously be raids, which will allow you to face rare and extremely powerful forms. However, there are many gray areas on these new versions which, for once, have not completely leaked. No details are given as to the duration of the trailer, nor on its content, but it this is not a Pokemon Presents. So what can we expect from this trailer? First, we are likely to discover new pokemon present in the pokédex, whether they are from older generations or new creatures.
