A man hit several vehicles while trying to escape the police, Saturday evening in Stavelot, we learned from the Verviétoise division of the Liège prosecutor’s office. A man born in 1989 was arrested in a vehicle with a stolen license plate. When the police tried to control him, the individual fled.
The patrol officers finally managed to corner the fugitive, but he still managed to escape them, rushing into the vehicles. The suspect then hid in a farmyard where he was apprehended. During his arrest, he struggled when the officers wanted to handcuff him and threatened them with a pitchfork.
