On Wednesday December 6 in the afternoon, at rue du Chêne in Angleur, police officers from the Liège police zone carried out a check on a vehicle traveling at high speed. On board, there was a driver and his passenger.
“What was the surprise of our police officers when, during the search of the vehicle and its occupants, they discovered the sum of 20,000 euros in various denominations”, Report to the local police.
On the basis of this discovery, in agreement with the prosecution, the police carried out a visit to their home, located in Grâce-Hollogne.
During the search of the home, a loaded revolver as well as several types of ammunition were found in the couple’s bedroom. Subsequently, 12.3 kg of cannabis were discovered in the attic.
The police also found all the equipment necessary for creating a cannabis culture as well as other munitions. “Seven mobile phones and a laptop were also seized”adds the police.
The two people were deprived of their liberty and interviewed by the judicial brigade before being referred.
