In the town of Engativá, a man was captured in the middle of a chase after neighbors alerted the authorities about the theft from a drugstore.
“Noticing the presence of the Police, this man fled, the quadrant followed him and intercepted a few blocks from the scene,” explained Major Germán González, commander of the Engativá Police station.
During the search of this man, the uniformed officers found a revolver-type firearm, which was loaded and with which he had tried to assault the premises.
Due to these facts, the prisoner was left at the disposal of the competent authorities to appear for the crime of illegal carrying of firearms.
