Police in Oman say they will avoid vehicle fines for 2020-2021

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that fines and fees for private and commercial vehicles in Muscat will be waived for 2020-2021. The action was taken on the instructions of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. At a cabinet meeting held at the Beit al-Barakah palace yesterday, the sultan proposed to waive the fines on vehicles.
