The police of the Vesdre area intervened this Thursday evening in rue Renier, near the Saint-Remacle church, in verviers. In question: a rather important altercation which took place at the beginning of the evening, around 7 p.m. Several people were surprised by a “din of sirens” that might be heard near the scene. Contacted, the police confirm that there was indeed a fight, and even a weapon exhibited, but ensures that all the protagonists were quickly arrested. According to the first elements, there does not seem to have been a shot fired, we are told. The circumstances of the fight and the reasons for it were not yet known on Thursday evening.
