A threatening man had been reported to them. The individual had even just felt unwell, but continued to insult the firefighters who came to his aid. According to progresshe was armed with a dummy grenade and shouted “Allah Akbar” in front of the travelers.
Placed in police custody, the thirty-year-old is of Algerian nationality and legally in France. Sharp objects were also found on him.
Psychological expertise will be necessary in order to perhaps help explain his worrying behavior.
