Three solidarity initiatives have just been announced by Policy Center for the New South (PCNS). These concern an internship-training offer, an immersion program and expertise and analytical work at the service of the Administration. Lasting six months, the training internship offer will be put in place for the benefit of 30 master’s students, residing or having resident ancestors in the affected provinces, PCNS said in a press release, adding that these internships will enable them to acquire professional experience and training within the PCNS.

In this sense, the said program will be spread over a period of three years and will cover the main areas of specialization of the think tank (research in economics and international relations, economic intelligence and strategic monitoring, communication and promotion of research, project management and program). Concerning the immersion program, it will be implemented for the benefit of undergraduate students, residents or those with ancestors residing in the affected provinces to acquire skills in the organization of the think tank’s activities. Thus, beneficiaries will be supported and will work closely with PCNS staff in carrying out its high-level events.

For its part, the third initiative of the PCNS will make available to the authorities and the Administration its expertise and its networks, national and international, in terms of analysis and research. This approach aims to actively support reconstruction efforts. For Policy Center for the New South, these initiatives reflect its mission as a recognized public utility association contributing in this sense to the improvement of public policies, economic, social and international.
