He then gave his analysis of the political situation established in Israel by Benjamin Netanyahu: “I think that the democratic drift in which he has installed his country, the extreme political tension that he has not only given rise to, but which he has maintained by allying with extremists… He chose, for political reasons, to ally himself with the hardest branch of Israeli political representation.”

“By doing that, I’m not sure he served the interests of his country, I’m not sure he made it stronger,” he concluded.
