Actress Ahana Krishna says that her father’s politics is his choice and it does not affect her. She said that she should be judged by her father’s political stance. In an interview with Red FM, Ahana shared about her father Krishnakumar and politics.

‘If my father is politically active, it is his life, his career. Totally his choice. I don’t ask them to do the film. This is my life. What he does, what he says, and what he believes in my father’s life should never affect me. Dad is doing something very happy. I like to believe that I won’t be judged on that basis. Krishnakumar and Ahana are separate persons. We live in a house. Many things may be believed together. There will be differences of opinion. In other words, what one says should not come anywhere in another’s life.’ – said Ahana.

Ahana says that we don’t talk much about politics at home and our children have different preferences. ‘We children are not very politically aware. Our favorite subjects are many more. A conversation can only happen if both sides have a good understanding of a subject. Politics is not much discussed at home.’- she added.

When asked what is politics, he said, ‘I don’t have a strong stance on politics. I am a person who prefers logical decisions. Believes in equality and humanity. This is my politics.’ was their answer.

Aahana’s last film is Adi directed by Prasobh Vijayan. Shine Tom Chacko and Dhruvan played the other lead characters. The film was produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner of Wayfarer Films.

Krishnakumar was a BJP candidate from the Thiruvananthapuram constituency in the assembly elections.
