Offenbach – Andy Borg (63) has been a fixture in the hit scene for over four decades. His hit “Adios Amor” from 1982 is just as unforgettable as his nine-year presentation at “Musikantenstadl”. The entertainer has been leading the SWR “Schlager-Fuß” series for several years. However, this recently had to give way to Helene Fischer (39).

In the past, the show had to be taken off the program repeatedly. Just recently, the February show was postponed to March in order to instead host a concert by Helene Fischer (39). First to show. According to a broadcast from SWR, ARD aims to avoid internal competition in the future.

However, this decision by ARD was met with bitter disappointment among fans of “Schlager-Spaß”. Andy Borg accepted the decision of those responsible for the program t-online very calm: “Program planning is a very separate discipline in which many interests have to be reconciled – and also the channels within ARD.”

The presenter sees it as a great compliment when viewers are so excited about the “hit” fun that they are disappointed when a show has to be postponed. The popular singer also presents himself as a gentleman: “And that’s how my parents raised me, I’m happy to make room for a lady.” Recently, several guests from the next “Schlager-Fun mit Andy Borg” edition leaked out.
