Vatican: Pope Francis calls for an end to Israel’s war on Gaza and Hamas attacks. “Stop the wars… They will never bring peace. Let the conflict not spread further. Enough… Enough brothers, enough!” The Pope said during a prayer at the Vatican.

He called for aid to those injured in the Israeli attack on Gaza and for more humanitarian aid to reach Gaza. He also called for the release of those held hostage by Hamas on October 7.

‘All human beings – whether they are Christian, Jew, Muslim or of any religion – are saints. They are precious in God’s eyes. “They have the right to live in peace,” said the Pope.

According to the United Nations, 11,078 people have been killed in Gaza so far in the Israeli offensive. 27,490 people are in hospital with injuries.
