Pope Francis ends his five-day trip to Portugal this Sunday. At the end of the World Youth Day in Lisbon, a public mass in Tejo Park is on the agenda for the morning. In the followingnoon, the head of the Catholic Church meets volunteers from the week-long event to say thank you. In the evening Francis flies back to Rome.
During his third trip abroad this year, the Pope met and prayed with many young believers. On Saturday he made a brief visit to the Shrine of Fatima. According to Christian belief, the Virgin Mary appeared there to three shepherd children in 1917.
