Pope Francis will visit Kazakhstan from September 13-15.

The Holy See has announced the official symbol, or logo, and motto of the Pope’s upcoming visit to Kazakhstan.
This year, from September 13-15, Pope Francis will visit Annad in connection with the 7th Conference of Leaders of World Religions and Traditional Religions, which will be organized in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The motto of this pastoral visit is “Messengers of Peace and Unity”. This motto is written in Kazakh at the top and Russian at the bottom of the official emblem of this pastoral visit.
Above and below this official emblem is a dove in flight with an olive branch between these inscriptions on a white circle. The wings of the pigeon are composed of two palms. These palms symbolize the messengers of peace and harmony.
A heart shape is added to one of the palm-shaped wings. It symbolizes love which is the result of mutual understanding, cooperation and dialogue.
Between the upper inscription and the image of a dove is a shanyrak, a component of the traditional tent-shaped dwelling of the Kazakh people, a “yurt” in sky blue. A yellow cross is in the middle of it.
The colors used in this symbol, or logo, are sky blue and yellow, the colors of the flags of Kazakhstan and yellow and white of the Vatican. The green color of the olive branch is a symbol of hope.
