This young Porsche driver is one of the many enthusiasts who do not hesitate to lend their car to people curious to get on board. He says : “As soon as someone is interested in my car, I don’t hesitate to offer them a ride or take them in the passenger seat. Very often, they refuse, for fear of driving a Porsche (and even more so an old one). I like to share this feeling of taking the wheel. For me, it’s normal to drive this car, but that doesn’t mean the emotions I feel are altered. There are no driver assists, no power steering, the pedals are hard and shifting is difficult. I like the direct connection there is with this 911 3.2. She is raw and unfiltered. There is a real connection between the car and the driver. The smell of leather inside is like back in the day. It’s familiar to me, since it’s my car. But I appreciate how lucky I am to have it.”
Hugo recently joined the Porsche Club Le Mans. In addition to club outings, he makes long trips to travel. It testifies : “I take full advantage of this 100% pleasure car during road trips in Europe. A few months ago, I left Paris via the back roads to go to Spain, to Alicante. Nothing was planned. I had my Michelin map to follow the green routes, and that’s it. It was just happiness! I also do circuit outings. They are increasingly rare on the track, so I tend to take the grandma of the group. Some tell me they don’t dare ride, it’s a shame. I encourage them to have fun by going on the circuit.”
The young Porsche driver concludes: “For two years, this was my one and only car. By doing the circuit, the desire to have an even more efficient car made me take the step of acquiring a Cayman S 987 phase 2 in 2023, but without selling my 911. I hope I never have to ‘separate from it!”
