Porsche has begun accepting orders in Russia for a special version of the Cayenne crossover called the Platinum Edition. According to the press service of the German brand, customers will receive the first cars in May this year. Prices for a novelty start from 7,320,000 rubles. The top version of the car will cost 8,950,000 rubles.
The car differs from standard crossovers with a new body design. For example, the Cayenne has numerous details in platinum with a “silky sheen”. This color scheme features inserts in the air intake slats in the front bumper, 21-inch wheels, and Porsche lettering integrated into the LED strip that connects the lights. Inside, the car features seat belts in Crayon and brushed aluminum door sills embellished with Platinum Edition lettering.
Already in the basic version, the crossover was equipped with LED headlights with a dynamic lighting system, a panoramic roof, tinted Privacy windows, a Bose Surround Sound surround sound system and sports leather seats with eight-position adjustment.
The latest addition to the Porsche Cayenne family became GT modification. The car was equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine developing 640 hp. and 850 Nm of torque. The engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, allows the crossover to accelerate from standstill to the first “hundred” in 3.3 seconds. The maximum speed of the Cayenne GT was 300 km per hour.
