Porsche Unveils Limited-Edition 911 GT3 to Celebrate Nürburgring’s 100th Anniversary

Marking the centenary of the legendary German proving ground, Porsche Deutschland has unveiled the limited-run 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring. Restricted to precisely 100 units for the German market, the anniversary edition combines a 510 PS naturally aspirated boxer engine with heritage-inspired green and gold aesthetics, historic badging, and an optional race-ready Manthey Kit.

Engineering Heritage Meets the 992.2 Architecture

The Nürburgring circuit hits its official 100-year milestone in 2027, and Porsche is leveraging its deep historical ties to the tarmac. Built on the current 992.2-generation Porsche 911 GT3 platform, the anniversary machine relies on a high-revving 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine. According to elferspot.com, the powerplant generates 510 PS and 450 Nm of torque.

Drivers can specify either a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission or a manual six-speed GT sports transmission. Choosing the manual shaves 17 kilograms off the curb weight compared to the PDK layout. Performance figures for the standard PDK-equipped GT3 track at zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a terminal top speed of 311 km/h.

Exterior Liveries and Circuit-Inspired Details

Visual differentiation defines the 100 Jahre Nürburgring edition. Buyers select between White, which mimics the neutral base of classic racing entries, and GT Silver Metallic, a nod to Porsche Cup cars. Conspicuous green wraps protect the front section and rear trim, echoing the historic factory team practice of using distinct color panels for track identification.

Graphic accents continue throughout the body. Front wings feature historic Nürburgring logos, complemented by green tow lugs and white arrow markings. Elferspot notes that customers can personalize their vehicle by choosing a race number between 0 and 999, rendered in a typeface styled after actual graffiti found on the Nordschleife. High-gloss California Gold forged wheels—measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches out back—sit beneath green mirror caps and a gold-lettered windscreen sun strip.
