Port efficiency: Tanger-Med and Matadi distinguished in the global performance index

The World Bank has developed and published, at the end of May 2022, the second edition of the World Container Port Performance Index (CPPI). This index, which makes it possible to measure and compare the performance of port infrastructures around the world, praises the ports of Tanger-Med in Morocco and Matadi in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Indeed, the port of Tanger-Med, pointing ranked sixth in the world, is the highest ranked for Europe and North Africa, according to the 2021 Container Port Performance Index.
